Two people from North Macedonia, 37 and 27 years old, have been declared wanted by the Tirana police as they are suspected of being the author of the burning in an 'Audi' in the area of the New Ring in Astir.
People living in North Macedonia set a girl's car on fire. It is known that the young Xh. T. had not long since returned from Switzerland after a breakup in a love affair he had there with an Albanian from North Macedonia.
The return to Tirana was after the words of the ex-boyfriend that he would burn his car if he left him, but Xh. T never imagined it could get to this point.
The girl's car was burned during the night of January 4 on the street "Astrit Losha" in Astir and the first suspicions were related to an accidental burning, but after the investigations advanced by the agents of Commissariat no. 6, the situation was quite different.
The footage from the security cameras showed 2 people approaching the white Audi car, setting it on fire and leaving. After Xh. T. was interrogated, she confessed to the investigators that her ex-boyfriend from North Macedonia had threatened to burn her car after leaving her, but he did not take it seriously.
Now the investigators had a good clue to solve the incident. Initially, another white Audi was identified through security cameras, but it turned out to be unrelated to the incident. Subsequently, during the inspection of the images at a relatively large distance, a second "Audi" was found, also of white color, which, both when arriving and when leaving, was staying in one place, in Astir, where the car burned on the night of January 4.
The car had Skopje license plates and inside it were 2 Albanians from North Macedonia, Femi Trijumfi and Mevljudin Sediu, who were allegedly ordered by Xh's lover. T. who continues to be in Switzerland, to burn Astir's car. The young men, respectively, 37 and 27 years old, traveled to Tirana just to burn Xh's car. T. and returned to the neighboring country after a few hours through the border point of Qafë Thana. Both were identified with evidence by the police, while they were declared wanted. In the future, it is expected that there will be cooperation with the Macedonian authorities for locating and arresting them, while work is being done on the complete documentation of the event.
