A person has been shot in Durrës and is in critical condition. The incident took place in Hamallaj and everything happened after a fight over a parking space.
The police have reacted with an official announcement stating that a 28-year-old man was wounded by 2 bullets. Meanwhile, the perpetrator has been identified and is wanted. He is Altin Lekegegaj, 44 years old.
" It is suspected that during a conflict for weak motives, citizen AL, 44 years old, wounded citizen LR, 28 years old, with a pistol, who is in hospital, in critical condition. As soon as the notification was received, they immediately went to the scene and, thanks to quick actions, they identified the perpetrator and started pursuing him. Police services continue checks in the area and in various environments, where it is suspected that the 44-year-old may have been hiding. The investigation group continues its work to clarify and fully document the circumstances of the incident ," the police announced.
This is the second time in our country that there have been victims and injuries due to parking disputes. The incident comes after the one in Divjaka, where a person was stabbed to death after a dispute over a water line two years ago. So while we haven't seen any more assassinations in months, it seems that ordinary crimes have been reactivated.
