Two accidents at work at apartment building construction sites have occurred in Tirana in the last few hours. Police have launched investigations and charged a company administrator and a security officer after two people were injured.
According to the police, a 46-year-old man with the initials A.Ç, who works as an administrator for a construction company, was taken under investigation after yesterday, while working, a worker named QB, 43, fell from the height of a building under construction. He is currently in hospital under the care of doctors.
Also for the second case, the police referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against EM, 33 years old, responsible for safety in a construction company, after the worker BH, 46 years old, was accidentally injured during work, who received medical assistance in the hospital and is out of danger.
For both incidents, they are being investigated on suspicions of lack of safety conditions at work.
