A serious accident was recorded this evening in the city of Shkodra where a police officer was run over by a vehicle.
It is learned that the incident occurred around 9:00 PM, in the "Partizani" neighborhood, where the driver of the vehicle lost control and hit the 60-year-old officer on the white lines.
The officer was rushed to the hospital in a non-life-threatening condition and is being treated by doctors.
Meanwhile, the police and the investigation team have arrived at the scene and are working to clarify the full circumstances of the accident.
"The police officer is under the care of doctors, out of danger to his life. The investigative team is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident," the official announcement said.
