The Italian police are working to find out the motives behind the murder of Bledar Dedja.
The 39-year-old was found stabbed to death in a small forest in Paderno di Pieve di Grappa in Treviso, Italy. Bledari was a resident of Asolo and was found murdered on the morning of January 21, 2024 by a family friend.
His body was found thrown in a bush near an unpaved dirt lane that connects Via dei Colli with provincial road 20. He had been stabbed many times. Some of the wounds are very deep and inflicted with the tip of a knife. One of the blows pierced a lung.
On the arms, however, the wounds typical of those who try to block the blows. Dedja seems to have fought with the author, but unfortunately it was not enough. Found with his pants down. At that moment, the search began. The first thought was of a possible accident, so they contacted the nearest emergency, the one in Bassano. But nothing. After a sleepless night, yesterday morning, his family members went to report his disappearance to the police station, while continuing the search. It was his friend Marco Barbi who noticed the 39-year-old's car on the dirt road. It was 9.30. A hundred meters away, in the middle of the bushes, was Dedja's body covered in blood.
The police will examine the clothes and the car to find any traces or DNA of the perpetrator. Traces of blood and drops of blood were found at the scene, indicating that Bledar Dedja may have had a fight with the author(s).
It is not yet known what happened, but the traces of blood suggest a meeting that ended in an argument and then murder. It is believed that the victims may have arrived at the scene in the same car. The police are verifying the 39-year-old's contacts, phone records and the images of the cameras installed in the area. Dedja was not an unknown name to the police.
