A serious incident happened yesterday where an elderly woman ended her life, jumping from the 6th floor of the building where she lived in Saranda.
According to police information, the 82-year-old woman, with the initials HV, suffered from mental health problems.
The incident happened yesterday in district no. 1 in Saranda, while the police are continuing their work to document the circumstances of this case.
"On 02.01.2024, it is suspected that she threw herself from the balcony of her apartment, on the sixth floor, in district No. 1, Sarandë, the citizen of HV, 82 years old, who as a result lost her life. From the preliminary verifications it was found that The 82-year-old woman was suffering from mental health problems.Work continues to document the circumstances of this case.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office of Vlora and that of Saranda, for further actions," the police announced.
