
An Albanian man who was found with 18 doses of cocaine has been sentenced to 3 years in prison. The Albanian was arrested on March 26th while driving a silver Mazda car when he was stopped by a police patrol in Cambridge.
Sitting in the driver's seat was 26-year-old Mariglen Sadiku, and a search revealed that he was carrying 18 doses of cocaine.
Further checks revealed that Sadik, with no fixed residence, had no established status or visa, and was driving without a license or valid insurance.
At Cambridge Crown Court on Friday (May 30), Sadiku was sentenced to three years in prison after previously pleading guilty to possession with intent to distribute drugs, possession of criminal property, and driving without a license.
