A 31-year-old wanted man has been extradited from Spain.
According to the police, this is a citizen with the initials JK, 31 years old, who is accused by SPAK of having, in February 2025, in collaboration with other persons, stolen 200,000 liters of oil from a ship anchored in the port of Durres and bribed police officers to carry out the crime.
The Serious Crimes Court had assigned JK the security measure of "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses of Active Corruption of Persons Exercising Public Functions, Smuggling of Excise Goods or with Suspension of Customs Duties, and Theft, Committed in Collusion.

Accused by SPAK that in February 2025, he corrupted police officers and stole, in collaboration with other citizens, 200,000 liters of oil from a ship anchored in the port of Durrës, the 31-year-old is being extradited from Spain.
As a result of the coordination of operational actions between specialists from Interpol Tirana and their counterparts from Interpol Madrid, the procedure for the extradition from Spain to Albania of the internationally wanted Albanian citizen, JK, 31 years old, was finalized within the framework of the "The Wanted" operation.
In February 2025, the Criminal Court of Kosovo assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offenses "Active corruption of persons exercising public functions", "Smuggling of goods for which excise duty is paid or with full or partial suspension of customs or excise duties" and "Theft", committed in collaboration", the police statement said.
