New details have been published by Italian media regarding the murder of 27-year-old Vanessa Ballan, who was executed by 41-year-old Kosovar Bujar Fandaj.
The results of the autopsy show that before being killed, Vanessa Ballan was barbarically beaten by the 41-year-old Kosovar.
The examination revealed bruises on the head and face, as well as some wounds on the hands, which are believed to have been received during the attempt to defend themselves.
The Italian authorities state that the 27-year-old received two blows to the lungs, while Bujar Fandaj then stabbed her in the heart, piercing the vital organ.
Bujar Fandaj stabbed the young Italian woman 8 times with a 20-centimeter long knife.
Vanessa Ballan was killed on her doorstep, stabbed at least seven times by her ex-boyfriend. After a year of relationship, the 27-year-old had decided to end it during the summer, but the Albanian from Kosovo had not accepted the separation.
The latter had started stalking her, appearing several times at the places where she worked, or at her home, threatening to "kill her" if they did not get back together. The 41-year-old from Kosovo wanted the pregnant young woman to separate from her partner and go live with him in San Vito di Altivole, a few kilometers from Spineda di Riese Pio X (Treviso), where the tragedy happened.
