The escape of 38-year-old Agim Gashi, accused of a murder that occurred in Fier at the end of 2023, has ended. He was arrested by the serious crimes investigation structures, pursuant to a detention order issued by the Fier Prosecutor's Office.
According to the decision of the Fier Court, Gashi has been sentenced to the security measure of "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offenses of "Premeditated murder" and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition". Investigations so far directly link him to the execution of a 41-year-old man in the "16 Prilli" neighborhood.

The execution of Elton Javori:
Elton Javori was executed on December 7, 2023 in his Porsche Cayenne car, which was identified by his family members a few meters from his apartment in the '16 Prilli' neighborhood in Fier, where the perpetrator Agim Gashi, also known as Agli, shot Javori with a pistol. The latter had retaliated with gunfire against Agim Gashi and his brother Kreshnik Gashi, but one of the bullets from Agim Gashi's pistol proved fatal for Javori after hitting him in the head.
The trail of banal conflicts was the cause that led to Javor's execution, as both the victim and the perpetrator Agim Gashi had previously had a clash between them, which apparently remained unresolved.
The victim in Fier is the nephew of Medi and Demir Backa. The first, Medi Backa, known as a member of the Fier gang, was killed in 1997, in the Levan Massacre, with 23 victims. While Demir Backa was eliminated with a Kalashnikov on the evening of October 23, 2021 in the center of Fier.
