A serious event shocked Rrëshen this morning, where a person was shot dead in the center of the city.
The police of Lezha have reacted officially, announcing that they have set up checkpoints to arrest the perpetrators of Martin Bardhi's murder.
The victim was released from prison only a short time ago, after being convicted for participating in the assassination of Kastriot Reçi's nephew. Bardhi was shot by Kalshanikovi while he was among the people
The murder took place near the hospital of the city of Rrëshen, very close to the premises of the police station of the city.
It is learned that the perpetrators, still unidentified, left the scene in an off-road vehicle, type 'Jeep', in an unknown direction.
"Around 10:40 a.m., in Rrëshen, by an as yet unidentified citizen, the citizen MM (B.) was shot dead.
The Police Services, as soon as they received the notification, immediately went to the scene. Checkpoints have been set up on every road axis, and intensive combing of the area continues.
Meanwhile, the investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working to secure any evidence that will make it possible to identify and catch the perpetrators," the police announced.
How did the event happen on March 26 of this year?
Initially, the two young men Enrik Bardhi and Saimir Reçi had a physical conflict and then Enrik Bardhi went to the apartment and took a gun to shoot his peer. Together with Enrik, his father, Martin Bardhi, went and shot at the armored car of Saimir Reçi, who, as a result of the shooting, lost control of the vehicle and collided with the road curb.
Before the gunfight, the two young men physically clashed with each other for passing a car on the city's main street. No one was injured in the shooting. The police, who immediately arrived at the scene, declared father and son Enrik and Martin Bardhaj wanted. Saimir Reçi is the nephew of Kastriot Reçi executed in 2020.
