Blerina Meta's cousin in Kurbin, Skënder Tuga, said that Sanije Tuga killed her mother-in-law, and for that she served 6 years in prison.

In May 2010, Kurbini police arrested 52-year-old Sanije Tuga for killing her mother-in-law and injuring her husband. After a fight with mother-in-law Behare Tuga, the latter was taken to the defense by her son, Baftjari. It seems that the 52-year-old woman could not handle this and took the couple, shooting in the direction of the mother-in-law and her husband.
