The identity of the person who ordered the weapons trafficked from Montenegro has been revealed. It is 26-year-old Enea Stankova.
New details have emerged regarding the police operation that led to the arrest of two people suspected of arms trafficking from Montenegro to Tirana. Sources for "Pamphlet" indicate that the police have identified and declared wanted 26-year-old Enea Stankova , who is suspected of being the collaborator of the arrested and the person who ordered the weapons.
According to the same sources, the investigation began with a purchase stimulated by the police, which then led to the crackdown on the suspected criminal group. During the operation, six pistols were seized, while Donati Jaku and Florian Gjeta were arrested.
Preliminary investigations suspect that the weapons were trafficked from Montenegro and intended to be sold in the Fresku area of Tirana, to a criminal group operating in that area.
The two arrested individuals had previously appeared in wiretaps conducted during another investigation. Analysis of the investigative materials helped investigators reconstruct the scheme of how the arms trafficking allegedly worked.
According to the investigation, Florian Gjeta, a resident of Domje, is suspected of having been involved in this illegal activity for years. Investigators say he also lived for a period in England, where he is suspected of having engaged in the same activity.
From the verifications carried out, it appears that Gjeta published photos on social networks showing him with a gun in his waistband, an element that was analyzed by investigators during the investigation.
At the time of the police intervention, Florian Gjeta was driving a Volkswagen vehicle, while Donati Jaku was traveling as a passenger. During the search, six firearms were found and seized.
Meanwhile, the police suspect that other people may have been involved in this activity, while investigations continue to identify all members of the suspected arms trafficking network.
