After four successful "sold out" nights on the stage of the National Theater of Opera, Ballet and Popular Ensemble, the ballet "Carmen" begins another important stage in its artistic journey.
The Albanian production will take to the prestigious stage of the Teatro Comunale di Bologna on May 23 and 24 , bringing Albanian art to the Italian public.
The play, which was received with enthusiasm and long applause in Tirana, brought to the stage the impressive performances of Anbeta Toromani, Adela Muçollari, Alessandro Macario, Dion Gjinika and Luca Curreli.
Through a powerful stage language, the artists brought emotion, drama, and artistic intensity, bringing to life the universal story of love and freedom.
"Carmen" became one of the most important productions of the artistic season at TKOBAP , not only for its interpretative level, but also for the way it brought attention back to the expressive power of contemporary ballet.
The presentation in Bologna represents an important moment for the Albanian artistic troupe and for the promotion of Albanian culture in the international arena. In one of the most renowned theaters in Italy, the Albanian artists will bring to the stage the elegance, energy and professionalism that characterized this production since its premiere in Tirana.
This success once again confirms the growing role of the National Theatre of Opera, Ballet and Popular Ensemble as an important ambassador of Albanian art on the most prestigious European stages.
