The Secretary General of the Socialist Party, Blendi Klosi, was asked whether the socialist majority will give the technical government to the opposition.
Klosi said there is no reason to negotiate with the opposition, which according to him is protesting by throwing Molotov cocktails at law enforcement and journalists.
"They will take over the caretaker government because they will protest on February 20 or for other reasons?! Since they will protest on February 20, there is no reason for us to negotiate with them. I am not against protest, protest is a democratic right, but what they did the day before yesterday with burning and throwing flames at police officers, at defenseless journalists, and the creation of a group of masked mercenaries, who not only did the fireworks part, but threw Molotov cocktails, threw improvised bombs, not even classic Molotov cocktails.
"We have never done anything to set fire to police officers or set fire to journalists, and we have never endangered the lives of police officers or those who maintained order. We must all distance ourselves from these acts that have nothing to do with protest and the right to protest," Klosi said on the show "Off the Record."
