Former President Bamir Topi, speaking about the "January 21" issue, said that SPAK should investigate deeply to find those truly responsible for that event.
Asked whether Prime Minister Edi Rama should go to SPAK, former President Topi said that this is an issue that belongs to the relevant institutions.
"We are at a moment when they have the say. If you ask me, I have my answers. Today I will not say it. The institutions know and I cannot give nuances. In front of the prosecutors, the person is responsible for what happened. I have been the head of state. Things have happened on the Boulevard of Tirana, and traditionally it has been the road of free people. I have called the Boulevard an institution. But today there is no Boulevard, today cars are driving. But on the Boulevard of Tirana, look at the educated people ," he said in an interview for 'This Week' on 'News24'.
