The Mayor of Vlora, Ermal Dredha, spoke on the show "NOW with Erla Mëhillin" regarding the action conceived by Prime Minister Edi Rama to free up public spaces in the city.
He announced the progress of this action and emphasized that after the Prime Minister's criticism, all representatives and officials of the municipality are more motivated to work in the service of citizens.
Journalist Bledian Koka was also in the studio, who asked the mayor about the resignations of the municipality directors after Rama's criticism and whether Dredha himself had considered resigning.
" The directors have not been dismissed without reason, we do not have any unconstitutional decision, but we ask ourselves to do the best we can, and we have this as a duty to ourselves and to those who work with us. We are always looking for new opportunities and to provide opportunities for young professionals ," said Dredha.
He added that efforts are being made to find new professionals to join the SP team, with the aim of advancing Albania towards a clear vision.
" We want to do the best for Vlora, and this is a new philosophy and strategy, where both new and current SP deputies are coming together to work on the ground ," the mayor concluded.
