The candidate of the Together Movement for the partial elections for the Municipality of Tirana, Arlind Qori, spoke about his program on the "Now" show, with moderator Erla Mëhilli on Euronews Albania.
Qori has stated that if he wins the November 9 elections, there will be a major upsurge against the old political system.
He emphasized that his program is not only for the remaining one and a half years but for a longer period, namely 5 and a half years. Qori said that if he wins, he will run again in the 2027 elections, but even in case of loss, he is at the disposal of his party.
" I believe that if I win for mayor, we will not have the government against us because there will no longer be this government. The news comes out that I have won the Municipality of Tirana, and you think that things will be politically normal the next day."
"I believe that there will be an extraordinary enthusiasm and opposition to the old political system. Our program exceeds the limit of one and a half years, but we propose things that will last 5 and a half years. If I win, I will run again in 2027. I am at the disposal of the Joint Movement for any type of competition ," said Qori.
