PD MP Enkelejd Alibeaj does not call pressures, but emotional states, what happened at the Presidency meeting.
Alibeaj spoke to the media before entering the plenary session, as he emphasized that there was no violence, only words.
" Don't take emotional attitudes. To some extent yes (I was asked if Bardhi also had an emotional attitude). In the meeting as long as it lasted, none of the members of the presidency were under pressure. I was in the meeting, I'm saying what I think and I perceive. There were different positions, where they have emotions and tensions. But it is not a threat. There was no pressure. You can perceive it like that. If you consider yourself members of the Presidency, you can too. The heads of the branches are DP, those who on January 8th were in defense of the deputies. I ask you for your feeling if this is a little...or I tell you twice. But I ask you to bring out what is the main problem. At the Presidency meeting, everyone's opinion about the way DP should move forward.
I am of the opinion that according to the rules of the Presidency, the meetings should not be public. It is a kind of solidarity, preservation of privacy, and yet as long as it is a public matter, the PD will have to take the full form of its operation an hour before. Extending its leadership even with a commanding chairman was not the best choice. It was a decision of the Presidency and the parliamentary group. We will have to give up the story that the fate of a party is decided by the individual name of a person. The rule is to establish rules in the statute that make it non-necessary, non-determinative of who is the chairman of the party. I proposed an amended charter, an extraordinary assembly in September. I support a party with constitutional democratic rules with separated powers. With powers that control the president,", Alibeaj said.
