The President of the DP, Lulzim Basha, convened the College of Presidents today. During his speech to the journalists, Basha declared that it is time to leave after 2 years of tollovi and move forward.
The holding of the Assembly and the number of attendees, according to Basha, proved the recovery of confidence in the leadership structures of the DP.
" Thank you to all of you for enabling the quorum of the DP, but also for the participation that testifies to regaining confidence in the leadership structures of the DP. It is also a barometer of the hopes and expectations of the determination of the Democrats to leave behind 2 years of tollovi and move forward.
We took significant and historic decisions, I would say, in the National Assembly. PD does not exist to serve itself, but the national interest.
On September 2, the decisions of the Assembly are clear, decisions were made to change and not remain in this political mess, whose agenda is made by the narrow interests of a group that sees politics as an instrument of profit, enrichment and immunity", said Basha .
