Lulzim Basha, the political leader of the Euro-Atlantic coalition, says that on May 11, citizens should vote for change and against what he described as "a 12-year mess of corruption."
Basha emphasized that the elections are a decisive moment because a vote for Edi Rama is a vote against themselves, against their children, against Albania.
He further added that the vote for number 5 is to remove Edi Rama's friends from 7×7=313, while the vote for number 1, unfortunately, goes to Elvis Roshi and Ilir Meta.
Basha further said that the only force that is neither in business nor in defense of the corrupt is the Euro-Atlantic Coalition with the number 4 with a program that has been stamped by Euro-Atlantic partners and offers a realistic and feasible alternative.
"Citizens should keep in mind that on May 11 they will vote for their children, for Albania, or for Edi Rama.
A vote for Edi Rama is a vote against themselves, a vote against their children, a vote against Albania. In this discourse, it is absolutely clear that my message, the message of the Euro-Atlantic Coalition number 4, has gone extremely well. But in the end, we must not forget that votes decide. And on May 11, I, as the bearer of this message, all 140 of our candidates, each of us has one vote, each citizen has one vote.
And with this vote on May 11, I will use it either to punish corruption and vote for an alternative for myself, or to continue to drag myself into the 12-year quagmire of corruption and its consequences, poverty, economic destruction, and emigration. Therefore, my invitation to every citizen is that on May 11, they should first decide for themselves and their children. And by judging which of the alternatives represents them best, they should take responsibility, because voting is responsibility, it is not called an election in vain," Basha said in an interview for MCN TV.
