The air base of Kuçova will be inaugurated with a ceremony on March, while the final preparations are being made.
Prime Minister Edi Rama has shared the interior views of this building. Rama writes that the Kuçova base will play a key role in supporting NATO operations.
"GOOD MORNING and from the soon-to-be-opened NATO Tactical Air Base in Kuçovo, which will play a key role in supporting NATO operations and exercises, serving as a hub for Air Force activities, with advanced infrastructure for the Alliance's combat and transport aircraft, I wish you a good day", writes Rama.
During his visit to Tirana, the American Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, said that all member states of the alliance will help equip this base with the latest technology.
"Throughout 15 years in NATO, Albania has made an essential contribution. Next month, Albania inaugurates the base in Kuçovo. All members will bring their contribution. Each ally has increased defense spending in recent years. We are thankful that Albania is doing its part and is keeping its obligations", declared Blinken.
