The Criminal Amnesty has turned into a heated debate between the political parties in Albania, where the official DP has a firm position to vote only the initial version of the draft law, while Reestablishment has clearly set as a condition the co-chairman of the Electoral Reform and the permission of investigative commissions.
In the studio of the show '5 Questions' on 'Report TV', the deputy of the Democratic Party of Reestablishment, Dashnor Sula said that this is the first time that there is no broad consensus on the approval of a criminal amnesty. According to him, former high officials can also benefit from this amnesty.
" Since 2005 that I have been in the parliament, it is the first time that there is no broad consensus. Democracy is participation. The moment you remove this word from it, it is no longer like that. Amnesty should have been a product of specialists with a detailed study.
The moment you manage to introduce personal interests... those of the majority say to forgive these GJKKO and SPAK for a year to show them that they are not alone ", said Sula.
