Berisha in Strasbourg: Rama's drug state endangers Europe's security
Sali Berisha

During the debate in the EPP parliamentary group in Strasbourg on the elections in Albania and the report on 'conversion therapy', the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, presented the situation in Albania as a serious threat to the security of Europe, describing it as a 'narcostate' led by Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Berisha stated that drug cartels, directly linked to Rama, dominate drug markets in Europe and that Albania has become a major center for money laundering through construction and tourist resorts.

In another debate, Berisha harshly criticized the report on 'conversion therapy', describing it as an inhumane practice and aggression against children. He stated that, in Albania, in kindergartens and primary schools, teaching materials are being used that aim to manipulate children towards gender change, linking this to what he called left-wing extremist propaganda and the influence of George Soros.

According to DP leader Sali Berisha, this approach aims to establish a dangerous dictatorship of the extreme left in Albania and beyond. He stressed that, although the debates on this issue were divided, there were great reservations in the audience towards the report, which according to him attempted to legitimize 'conversion therapy' against children.

"I expressed the request that the member states of the Council of Europe, the Parliaments of these countries, raise their voices against this serious danger that comes to them from a small country that has all the great potential for development and has been immersed in drugs by the regime, solely for electoral purposes."

Likewise, regarding the great danger that Albania represents, I stopped at AKSHI, the family garden of Edi Rama, in which the main coordinator of the drug cartels with members of the Rama family have looted hundreds and hundreds of millions of euros. But above all, Ergys Agasi has exported all the internet data that exists in Albania, to criminal clans and enemies of NATO and this is a great danger that Albania spreads to the region and Europe.

I invited those present to come to Albania, to see the grave consequences of Albania's transformation into George Soros' republic or into the latter's flourishing kindergarten, where children in kindergarten and elementary schools are given textbooks, figurines, and educational objects to manipulate them towards gender reassignment.

I emphasized that this propaganda is extreme leftist propaganda that aims to restore a dangerous extreme leftist dictatorship, not only in Albania, but also in Europe and the world.

"The debates on this issue were of course not the same, but overall, very strong reservations were expressed about the report, which in a way sought to legitimize 'conversion therapy' for children for gender reassignment," said Berisha.
