Democratic Party MP Jozefina Topalli said in Parliament that the propaganda of Edi Rama's government has fallen, as she mentioned the scandals with roads and tunnels, which, according to her, are being damaged by the weight of corruption.
During her speech in the Assembly, Topalli emphasized that government officials, whether arrested or under investigation, are falling one by one and this is not "accidentally", but because of this model of governance with corruption.
She stated that this government is talking about satellites at a time when the emergency was left without electricity just a short time ago, because with the power outage, the generators were not working.
"We got used to big promises and little life for citizens. Today we talk about satellites, Smart City, weapons production and war machines, big words, propaganda headlines. In the hospital emergency room, the lights go out and there is not even a generator. This is the moral gap of power, from satellites in the sky to the darkness in the patient's bed. They talk to us about modern healthcare but there is a lack of energy, equipment, basic security and equipment. They talk to us about development in technology but pensions are the lowest in Europe. Citizens count pennies while the government counts imaginary projects. This is an escape from reality and when it is rejected, lies become a system. Ministers arrested for corruption, others under investigation, officials who fall one by one not as an accident but as a model of governance. When corruption becomes a system, it appears on the asphalt, lack of generators, etc. Roads that crack from the weight of corruption, not from the weight of cars or even from the rain. Tunnels that leak without opening because they were built for tenders and not for life people," said Topalli.
