The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, immediately reacted on social media after Prime Minister Edi Rama's announcement that he himself would be involved in the electoral campaign in Tirana.
According to Berisha, Rama found the solution by replacing Erion Veliaj.
" Good evening friends! Edi Rama, after shedding crocodile tears for Erion Veliaj all morning and throughout the day, found the solution in the evening, taking his place ," says Berisha on social networks.
We recall that Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj has been arrested since Monday after being accused of setting up a corruption scheme together with his wife, Ajola Xoxa.
