Blinken in Tirana, Mediu: The visit is not to divide politics but for Albania

The President of PR Fatmir Mediu spoke about the visit of the American Secretary of State, Antony Blinken in Tirana.

Regarding the fact that Blinken will not meet the opposition, Mediu said that when an official of this caliber visits the country, it is no longer about parties in internal politics, but about Albania.

“Blinkeen's agenda is done by DASH. Important visit. It shows relations with Albania. When the Secretary of State comes, we no longer talk about parties, we talk about Albania ," he said.

During this visit, Blinken is expected to meet with President Bajram Begaj, Prime Minister Edi Rama, and will hold a joint press conference with the head of the government.

During his stay in Tirana, where he is expected to arrive around 11:00, Mr. Blinken will also meet with a group of about 100 young people who have studied in programs offered by the United States such as Fulbright and the International Leadership Visitor Program, IVLP.
