The leaders of the European Union and those of the Western Balkans took a family photo, after the first work session for the Berlin Process Summit ended. All the leaders gathered to take a picture, while the only one who was absent was the Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, even though the most powerful leaders of the European Union and Chancellor Olaf Scholz himself, whose country initiated this initiative, were present. .

For the same reason, about two weeks ago the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Daçiç did not participate in the family photo at the Ministerial of Foreign Ministers of the Western Balkans in Tirana.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Kurti together with other Balkan leaders were part of the photo, which has now become a tradition at every summit. Rama appeared next to Scholz and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.
