On the eve of the May 11 elections, Democratic Party MP and political leader of the Dibër district, Xhelal Mziu, has made a strong denunciation through social networks, accusing of vote buying and violence against citizens in the village of Radovesh, Golloborda.
According to Mziu, the municipal police officer in Bulqiza, Ndriçim Sula, was caught red-handed distributing money in exchange for votes. He has published videos that, according to him, document this illegal activity. Mziu adds that two citizens who were attending this activity were raped by the municipal police officer and a supporter of the Socialist Party.
"Rilindja on the ground with the administration and criminal groups distributing money in exchange for votes! Two citizens who were following them were raped by a municipal police officer and a supporter of the criminal renaissance. This is a crime scene. This is an electoral crime. This is an electoral crime," Mziu wrote in his post.
The Democratic MP calls on the institutions of justice and order to intervene immediately to stop these illegal actions. "The state police, the justice system, SPAK must react, criminal gangs cannot determine the vote of citizens," he concludes.
This denunciation comes at a critical moment, when the country is in electoral silence and citizens are expected to vote tomorrow to choose their representatives. The authorities have not yet reacted publicly to these accusations.
