"We will turn it into smoke and flames", Paloka warns of chaos in

Democratic Party MP Edi Paloka has warned of chaos in the protest called by the opposition on Monday, the day when the immunity of Sali Berisha is expected to be removed from the Assembly.

Invited to the studio of the show "Kjo Javë" on "News24", Paloka declared that this is some kind of attempt to get the former prime minister Berisha out of politics.

He said that Monday's protest will start at 11:30, in front of the Presidency of the Assembly, as he warned that the fire and smoke of the Assembly will move outside it.

Excerpts from the studio interview:

Have you felt the support of the militants?

Paloka: All attempts are made to get Berisha out of politics. That's why we decided to have a protest on Monday. There were also reactions from the militants.

In this part, Basha is not included at all and cannot be used as an argument. Basha is not the opposition, if there are people who see Basha as still in the opposition, they are either too naive, or they should change their glasses. It has been achieved that Rama never gets tired of attacking us. In the hearings, when we protest, no accusations come out, but Basha comes out. Basha has replaced Fuga, Balla is in charge. This is the level of operation. They vote what Rama wants, you have seen the approval of the budget. They pretended to vote against it, while making corium for the majority. So these are not counted in the protest at all.

We do not expect that our protests are somehow imposed. I got out of our program. Imposed of course by the actions of Rama and SPAK. This Monday's protest is related to the removal of the immunity of the leader of the opposition. There are two protests, where the people will express their disagreement with an act. There are also protests that have a specific purpose. For example, The overthrow of the government, where a strategy must be prepared. We do not show the preparations here, nor in the Parliament.

Why do we protest in Parliament? Our rights are being violated. We have achieved our awareness in the Parliament.

Smoke and flames in Parliament, smoke and flames must be done outside. We are in a dictatorship and I have been saying it for a long time. It is not the dictatorship of Enver Hoxha, with prisons and exiles. In fact, there are deportations that are fleeing abroad.

How should we not react when the immunity of the member of parliament of the leader of the opposition is removed? For anyone, Berisha is being attacked in all ways. What is happening with Berisha, what is expected to happen with ordinary citizens. DP militants have put us under pressure as to why we have not held protests so far. If we do not react with all forms, there are no results here. This is protest with a purpose. When a certain group has the will, nothing stops it. Neither the Garda, nor the police, nor the bodyguards stop him.

Already an action that is coming out of the Parliament, what has the opposition won and lost?

Paloka: We haven't lost anything. More than that, we have nothing to lose. We have prison and life left. It is no longer our issue, but that of the citizens.

I do not blame ordinary citizens, as they are afraid of this regime. You know what happened to your landlord. There was pressure. A week ago, I came out of the Presidency of the Assembly, a woman and a girl approached me and whispered to me 'when are we going to kick them out!?' He whispered and ran away. For the action we are going to do, we do not expect tens of thousands of citizens to come out, but we expect them to join later.
