Argita Malletzi, Berisha's successor in politics? Edi Paloka: He has always

Democratic Party MP Edi Paloka has responded to hints that the daughter of former prime minister Sali Berisha, Argita Malltezi, will succeed her father in politics.

Invited to the studio of the show "Kjo Javë" by journalist Nisida Tufa in News24, Paloka rejected these doubts, saying that they are fancies.

Among other things, he said that Argita Malltezi herself has clarified her position in DP.

You know Mr. Berisha well and have stood by him. Under these conditions, how do you see Berisha in relation to his supporters?

Maybe I shouldn't have said it, but I think that what they are doing with Berisha is doing them the biggest favor. Practically, Albania is the second country in Europe, after Russia, that seeks to imprison the leader of the opposition. This is how Europe sees it.

There are many of those people who think that Berisha should leave. There were hints that it could be the daughter, Argita Malltezi, who will succeed her. Would you say hello?

Maltezi held her own position. Even if she thought of being active in politics, she has not been so public with an appearance on the show. She herself clarified her position. I want to emphasize that Argita was part of the DP and a student of Djetori. They are fantasies fueled by a source.

What do you think of the result of this commission for Berisha?

Do you think they will break Rama's decision? No! Rama has the perverse desire to humiliate his rivals. You ask for a constitutional right, he takes it away. The opposition has never had the fairest issue. This cause was supported by everyone, including internationals.

Would the opposition be ready for elections?

No, because there is no choice and no justice. Rama does not let you make a choice, and there is no justice either. I am convinced that this will be Rama's last year in government. Time will tell the reason.
