The names of the 30 deputies who signed the lawsuit sent on Thursday to the Constitutional Court, to save Sali Berisha from arrest, are revealed.
Among the 19 deputies of Re-establishment, i.e. declared supporters of Sali Berisha, Gazmend Bardhi, together with 10 deputies of his group, gave the firm for the defense of the former prime minister in the investigation of the "Partizani" affair.
Bardhi and his deputies secured the number of signatures (no less than 28 deputies) needed to submit the lawsuit to the Constitutional Court.
According to "Report TV", the names of the deputies were kept secret, no one came out publicly to talk about this fact, not even themselves Berisha stated that he does not know who they are. The question that arises is what interest is hidden in not making public the names and signatures of those who want to save Berisha from arrest?
Agron Gjekmarkaj, Dhurata Çupi, Helidon Bushati, Saimir Korreshi and Lefter Gështenja are among the deputies. The answer to why Rithemelimi chose to keep the 30 firms secret can actually be seen in the names of the Bardhi group, as the latter have publicly stated that Sali Berisha's battle does not overlap with the opposition's action in parliament.
Berisha is trying to defend himself in the Constitutional Court with the lawsuit demanding the suspension of any measures against him until the powers between the Assembly and SPAK regarding the removal or restriction of the MP's freedom are resolved. Which consequently, according to them, would declare unconstitutional, any other decision that derives from the first measure, such as the arrest.
If this attempt also fails and the Court dismisses the lawsuit, Berisha's defense on the other hand, is the protests in front of the Assembly on the same day, Monday, and at the same time, at noon, when the Immunity Council examines SPAK's request for measures the arrest of Berisha.
