Lawyer Spartak Ngjela has commented on the political situation and SPAK's request to the Assembly for the removal of Sali Berisha's immunity, for the implementation of the "house arrest" security measure.
In an interview for Euronews Albania, he emphasized that what is happening is at low levels, adding that we are in a very weak situation in terms of political intellect.
He added, among other things, that PD is not serving the people but Sali Berisha.
"It is at low levels, because these are issues that belong only to the Constitutional Court. The problem is not that Berisha does not know democracy, but does not accept it. He has been afraid of justice since the time of communism. We are in a very weak situation in terms of political intellect. We have a PD that was built to save Sali and not Albania.
Berisha is now in great difficulty because the measure of arrest has been taken. On Monday, the chairman of the SP Parliamentary Group said that they will accept SPAK's request. Berisha will get the crowd out and save himself", said Ngjela.
