President Bajram Begaj today decreed Edi Rama as prime minister for the fourth time since 2013. The head of state received the prime minister in a brief meeting at the Presidency, where he also gave him the decree.
In the document signed by Begaj, it can be seen that the decree has two articles, where in addition to the decree of Rama as prime minister, another article has been added that has to do with the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence.
"The Prime Minister also exercises responsibilities for the establishment and functioning of the Virtual Minister of Artificial Intelligence "Diella ", the decree states.
After being sworn in as prime minister, Rama will also send Begaj the decrees of the new ministers, which he announced the day before at the Socialist Party Assembly.
President Bajram Begaj will then issue individual decrees for each of the ministers. Following the proposal of the Prime Minister, the President will issue individual decrees for each of the ministers. First, the government must receive a vote of confidence in Parliament in the coming days, and then the swearing-in ceremony will take place at the Presidency.
We are talking about 17 ministries, one of which, like never before, will be led by a virtual minister, Diella, who will be the public procurement minister.
Meanwhile, 8 ministers have left the old cabinet and are engaged in other positions, except for Bora Muzhaqi, who will remain an MP. Five ministers are reconfirmed in the same ministries, without changes, while 4 move to restructured ministries, while the newest return to the leadership of a ministry is Elisa Spiropali.
