Prime Minister Edi Rama has appointed Elisa Spiropali as head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs lives in a different time zone. A different time zone from Albania's time. The foreign service is a body that in its entirety runs at a slow pace and cannot deliver what is expected of it. For years, the results have been modest, unchanged and discouraging. We must maximize Albanian diplomacy. At the head will be a person with a prominent feature to keep her mouth shut, Elisa Spiropali," said Rama.
