Edi Rama has described this mandate of European Albania as his fourth consecutive governing term.
Prime Minister Edi Rama considers the trust of citizens to be a heavy burden, in his speech at the Socialist Party Assembly today.
The Prime Minister stated that the 4th mandate is the occasion of the socialists' lives.
"This is the case of our lives, fate brought it to be us. And no one better than us, 12 years of experience in government in a row are a unique asset. Theoretically, no one can address the shortcomings that need to be corrected more and faster than us. But this is theoretical without the condition that we here are aware and concerned about the extraordinary burden that this new mandate has and to shake ourselves, each other and the SP strongly", said Rama.
Rama also told the Socialists that this political force should lead the country until 2050.
"Leave the tales that in a democracy parties must be changed every 4 years to those who tell tales. It is not a sin, it is an obligation for us to see the SP at the top even in 2030 and in 2040 and in 2050. That is, for you to see it. Therefore, I invite you to evaluate it as a very serious obligation, a serious investment of all of you in the center and territory towards the Albania of another generation."
