Here's who's winning on the open list...

As Albania nears the end of the VOTE counting process for political parties, an equally important competition has begun: the one for the mandates allocated by the open list.

For the first time in this form, citizens have had the opportunity to directly influence the ranking of candidates within parties, and the first results show surprises, strong rivalries and shifts from the “safe” lists. So far, a small portion of the ballot boxes for candidates in 10 districts have been counted, except for Elbasan where work has not yet begun.

Tirana – The strongest race in the SP

From 101 ballot boxes counted out of a total of 1282, the Socialist Party has at least 7 candidates who are securing a mandate with personal votes. The most voted so far is Blendi Gonxhja with 5199 votes, followed by Fatmir Xhafaj (1990), Ornaldo Rakipi (1178), Erion Braçe (1047) and others.

In the DP camp, Ilir Alimehmeti leads the race with 1203 votes, leaving behind Jorida Tabaku (1093) and Loranca Hoxha (1040), which heralds an interesting clash for the final position.

Berat – PS dominates the open list

From 100 boxes counted, the DP does not secure any mandate from the open list, while in the SP, Hysen Buzali leads with 5,643 votes, followed by Julian Zyla and Fadil Nasufi.

Durrës – Innovation from both camps

The DP enters the race with Arian Ndoja who has 743 votes. On the other hand, in the SP the most voted is Arkend Balla with 1715 votes.

Dibër – One name dominates the SP

Here too, the DP has no representation from the open list. Meanwhile, in the SP, Agron Malaj results convincingly with 7,854 personal votes.

Fier - Mandates with few votes, SP divides the list

In this district, the SP distributes mandates even with less than 200 votes. Silva Hasaj, Pelivan Bufi and others secure rankings with votes ranging from 193 to 65 – a signal for a strong distribution of votes within the party.

Gjirokastër – Two important names

In this district, Tërmet Peçi dominates with 7,368 votes, followed by Piro Dhima with 4,366. The DP is again without representation from the open list.

Korça – Intense campaign for mandate

In the DP, Jorida Mazelliu leads with 1900 votes. In the SP, Ilirian Pendavinji with 2841 and Bledi Çomo with 2478 secure the first positions.

Kukës – Gender rule changes the ranking

Although Isuf Celaj has 4100 votes, the mandate passes to Elvira Peka with 2264 votes due to gender representation. The SP does not secure mandates from the open list.

Lezha – Low figures, but real impact

In the DP, Gjin Gjoni and Aleksandër Lala are the most voted with 199 and 187 votes, while in the SP, Pranvera Skana leads with 174 votes.

Shkodër – DP comes out with an advantage

Lodovik Hasani of the DP has collected 1,850 votes, ranking first on the open list. The SP has not yet received any mandates through this formula.

Vlora – Battle within the SP

The strongest competition on the open list is within the SP, with Ardit Bido (4597 votes) leading, followed by Damian Gjiknuri (4336), Vasil Llajo and Vullnet Sinaj.
