Democratic Party MP, Jorida Tabaku, has reacted after the collapse of a business in the Kombinat area, whose owner had proper legal documentation, with a permit and mortgage.
Tabaku stated that this is another ugly case of abuse of power, where the state behaves like a real estate agency that demolishes citizens' properties for clientelistic interests.
"Together with Onelda, we are in the Combine, facing the ruins of a business that the state attacked and destroyed within a day, even though it was on the land and in its legal business, which paid taxes to this state," Tabaku said in the video published on social networks.
According to her, this event is an example of how the socialist government has usurped properties and businesses over the last 12 years, violating the fundamental rights of citizens.
"When the state takes your property without notice, when it destroys your activity within a day, without any final decision, this is not governance, it is an abuse of power," she emphasized.
Tabaku warned that after the cases of May 5, Theth, Vlora and now Kombinat, no one is anymore protected against the arbitrariness of the state.
"Today it happened at the Combine, tomorrow it could happen at your doorstep," said the Democratic MP, vowing to continue supporting the affected residents and owners, "until the end to prevent injustice from becoming the norm," said the Democratic MP.
