The electoral process within the Democratic Party in Malësia e Madhe has concluded with the election of Fredi Sterkaj as head of the local branch, after a vote held among the membership.
A total of 448 members participated, while the count shows that Sterkaj secured 360 votes , leaving behind the rival candidate who received 82 votes.
The committee that administered the process announced that the voting took place smoothly and in accordance with the rules, also highlighting the high level of participation as an indicator of members' interest.
His election comes at a time when the Democratic Party is aiming to reorganize structures at the local level, with a focus on strengthening its political presence in the Malësia e Madhe area.
