Adriatik Lapaj of Shqipëria Bëhet has called on the opposition parties with Edi Rama to join the protest that will be held on Saturday afternoon in front of the Prime Minister's Office. Among the entities that are aligned in opposition with Rama is the Lëvizja Bashkë, which is represented in the Parliament by Redi Muçi. The latter said from the Report TV studio that he rejects Lapaj's invitation, while considering cooperation with Sali Berisha as a "red line".
"Every call for cooperation is in favor of Sali Berisha. He and the Democratic Party lack moral legitimacy, and without this legitimacy, the protests have no effect."
"Edi Rama treats Berisha's protests with humor and irony," declared Muçi.
The MP also cited Lapaj's previous clashes with Endri Shabani, now People's Advocate, during the 2025 parliamentary elections, as an additional reason for the non-cooperation between the two new movements.
“Why don’t we cooperate with Adriatik Lapaj? If we had accepted their outstretched hand, we would have ended up at the point where our aunts and uncles would be involved in disputes with Shabani’s uncle and Adriatik’s aunt,” said Muçi, underlining past tensions as a decisive factor in the Joint Movement’s stance.
