Even in the first days of the war in Gaza, there were media that quoted this teacher as a witness to the first bombings.

But as things turned out, the Mossad misled them, causing events to flow into their own waters.

Sinauar, before heading the Political Bureau of Hamas, was the head of its military wing. He was settled in 2016, after being released from an Israeli prison, convicted of several murders.
In Israeli prison, Sinauar became famous, after writing a novel that became a best seller in Arab countries, but also beyond. The 315 pages of the novel he had written in the Israeli cell were taken out in small packages hidden by other prisoners. "Thorn and Carnation", was the name of the book that showed his life in thick lines.
It was the story of Ahmed, born in the Al Shati refugee camp, and his family. Sinauar planned in detail the plan to invade Israel at dawn on October 7 of the previous year and attack villages around the Gaza Strip, where 1,200 people were massacred and 251 kidnapped.
He and Mohammed Deif were the two main planners of the attack, both convinced that they could tip the balance with Israel in the Middle East. Convinced they can turn Benjamin Netanyahu's government toward permanent negotiations thanks to the brutal looting of hostages.
