The head of the DP, Lulzim Bash, has reacted again regarding the construction of the 58-story tower and the seizure of the Tirana incinerator.
Basha writes that the incinerators and the "Mountain of Tirana" are two sides of the same coin, while emphasizing that SPAK has the support of the DP in the fight against corruption.

The corrupt affair of the Incinerators, for the clarification of which the Democratic Party has waged a long public battle, already proved as right by the arrests and seizures of SPAK, and money laundering through the construction of towers with undeclared and falsified balances, such as it is the last case in the heart of Tirana reported to SPAK by the group of PD municipal councilors, they are two sides of the same coin.
With the incinerator affair, millions of euros were stolen from the pockets of Albanian taxpayers. This money of government corruption in collaboration with organized crime and economic crime is then laundered through schemes to build luxury towers in the middle of Tirana.
Corruption steals the future from citizens, impoverishes Albanian families, kills fair competition, hinders economic growth, undermines democracy and trust in institutions. International reports clearly show that corruption in the Rama government has reached the level of state capture, where governors and political clients use the state for their private interests to the detriment of citizens.
The uncompromising fight against corruption is a national emergency, therefore the Democratic Party is determined in our support to SPAK and committed to the approval and implementation of the vetting of politicians, because only a clean policy can ensure a strong economy with welfare and security for Albanian families," writes Basha.
