DP leader Sali Berisha declared that Prime Minister Edi Rama refuses to lift Balluk's immunity because, according to him, he himself is tainted in that dossier.
Berisha emphasized that everything is clear and that even citizens now know that everything at AKSHI is the Rama family, Linda Rama, Armand Frangu and the Prime Minister himself.
"Edi Rama refuses to lift Lubi Balluku's immunity because he knows that out of 3 lines, two are for Rama in that file. Out of 6,500 messages, at least 4,000 are Rama's and he knows this. So it's a possibility, but even if it weren't for him, he wouldn't lift his immunity. He could remove her as deputy prime minister and stay as presto nome in her place. Don't forget the joint meeting of the government and the Presidency and forcing Rama to hold a meeting at the PS headquarters. Berisha further underlined: "The DP is not legitimate to address the Venice Commission. This commission answers to governments, only Albanians have a say, it is their turn. I assure you that the thermometer of anger is going to higher levels among the citizens. Even the citizens know that AKSHI is Rama with Armand Frangu, they know that the hostages have been taken for hundreds of millions of their money... You saw the hurricane yourself... We are moving towards the triumph of the law and the Constitution...! Edi Rama in every place he goes, abroad and within the country, is now a fierce enemy of the Albanian nation. This is my clear definition," said Berisha when asked by journalists.
