The British Ambassador to Albania, Alastair King-Smith, has held a meeting with the Inter-Party Group of British Parliamentarians in Tirana.
King-Smith has set an ultimatum to politics in Albania to restore normality in the Parliament, as he adds that the chaos and tensions must end.
He emphasizes that this visit should inspire Albanian politicians to cooperate to make the Parliament work in the interest of the citizens who vote for them.
The ambassador also says that the representatives visited our projects in Kukës, initiatives that are creating new opportunities for businesses and young people.
"It was a real pleasure to host this week an inter-party delegation from the Parliament of the United Kingdom in Tirana. The parliamentarians attended a very interesting program meeting their counterparts from the entire Albanian political spectrum, as well as visiting our projects in Kukës, initiatives that are creating new opportunities for businesses and young people.
The visit demonstrated the mutual respect between the United Kingdom and Albania. In addition to the ideas for future cooperation that the British delegation is considering, I hope that this visit will inspire Albanian politicians to cooperate to make the Parliament work in the interest of the citizens who vote for them" , writes the British ambassador King-Smith.
