The May 11 elections and the opposition's accusations of manipulation continue to be debated, while it is still unknown how the DP and its allies will behave once the entire process is completed, including the handling of complaints.
In the studio of the show 'Log.', analyst Neritan Alibali debated with the Secretary for Legal Affairs in the Democratic Party Ivi Kaso.
Alibali said that all this noise and all this protest is known to the DP every time the elections end. According to him, the opposition says it will not interfere with Edi Rama as prime minister, but then it does the opposite, interferes in the elections and in parliament.
"The opposition has a plan A but no plan B. Tell me, in 2027 should I go to the elections or not. If you enter the parliament and have Rama as prime minister, in 2027 you will say that this prime minister stole our elections, but you will still tell me to go vote, and then you will say that they stole them from us," said Alibali.
Meanwhile, Ivi Kaso said that the opposition on May 11 was on an uneven playing field and the lack of rules of the game in the process was confirmed by the ODIHR's preliminary report.
"ODIHR says that its observers found use of the administration, you have an international arbitrator who overthrows the electoral process. The opposition's task is to put itself at the forefront of the effort," said Kaso.
The debate

Ivi Kaso : We did not say that we will not participate in the elections. These elections were proof of what we said, that Rama has a goal to prevent Albanians from voting freely. The concept of elections is to participate in a competition with equal opportunities and weapons.
Neritan Alibali : Did you know this in advance? And you told the opposition people that if you go and vote, your vote will be counted. Tell me, in 2027, should I go to the elections or not? Ivi Kaso: You have some beautiful expressions that the opposition should preserve the vote. Let's not get into morality, first of all a process must have rules of the game. The lack of rules of the game in the process is not only said by the opposition but also by the ODIHR. Now the ODIHR says that its observers found use of the administration, you have an international arbitrator who overthrows the electoral process. The opposition's duty is to put itself at the forefront of the effort.
