The Government spokesman, Përparim Kryeziu, announced that Prime Minister Albin Kurti will not go to the meeting on Monday with his Albanian counterpart, Edi Rama, within the framework of the meeting with the leaders of the Western Balkans.
Kryeziu wrote on Facebook that Kurti received an invitation from Rama a week ago for an informal lunch with the European Commissioner, Oliver Varhelyi, where other presidents of the Western Balkans were also invited, but according to him, Kurti confirmed his participation in another conference in Greece.
"One week ago, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, was invited by the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, for an informal lunch with European Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi in Tirana, where other prime ministers of the Western Balkans were also invited to participate. Prime Minister Kurti has informed Prime Minister Rama that he will not be able to go this time since months ago he confirmed his participation in a conference in Crete, Greece, where the panel for the Western Balkans is on exactly the same day and at the same time. he wrote.
Kryeziu added that Kurti will participate in the Berlin Process Summit that will be held in Tirana on October 16 of this year.
Meanwhile, when Rama came to Kosovo a few days ago, Prime Minister Kurti did not meet him on the grounds that the meeting had to be held within the framework of the meeting of the two governments.
