The new parliament, which emerged from the May 11 elections, convened for the first time today. The new deputies are expected to be sworn in to constitute one of the country's most important institutions. 140 deputies will sit in the hall, including 72 who are entering for the first time.
Socialist Zegjine Çaushi declared today after leaving Parliament that there will be no more clashes with Gaz Bardhi, while emphasizing that her responsibility is twofold.
"I am excited, naturally. I said that the story with Gaz Bardhi is over during the campaign. I have a double obligation because I also owe Maldrita Bardhi," said Zegjine Çaushi.
