The head of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha is continuing his meetings with the branches of the party in the cities of the country. The next stop was in Dimal, where he held the DP Electoral Assembly in this branch.
Basha said that the party he leads has reason to hold his head high today, as he has shown that it is not a cult or a clan, but a contemporary party united around values.
On the other hand, he says that there is a difference between DP and what he calls "the swamp of Bermuda" and the day of confrontation with the truth and the law will come very soon. According to him, Rama, Meta and Berisha are afraid of facing the SPAK Special Prosecutor's Office.
"Today, the Democratic Party has reason to hold its head high. It has reason to look optimistically towards tomorrow. And the reason is that these two years did not humiliate us and dishonor us, but showed us the true leadership within the Democratic Party. Reshaped the body of this leadership by separating the alum from the sugar, removing the false glitter of the spaletes that many during these 34 years received or were often given undeservedly. Showing that in essence we are not a cult, we are not a clan, but we are a contemporary political party, united around values, around convictions, around visions, around faith and above all around love not just for ourselves, for each other, but for Albania and for Albanians.
The difference between us and the swamp of Bermuda, where the same actors, who have taken the country's future hostage, have driven and are driving young people from their homes only for the sake of their enrichment, power, or anxieties, have been eroding for 34 years. who have that very soon the day of confrontation with the truth and the law will come. Their ilk in neighboring countries have faced the law and this is a road of no return just like the road of European Albania. They have delayed it a lot, but they cannot stop it", said the leader of the DP during his speech.
