Today, the Special Anticorruption Commission met again, where the opposition boycotted was not present. In his speech, the head of this Commission, Fatmir Xhafaj, presented the analytical document that will be prepared by the Group of Experts.
"Today we have an important decision-making, the resolution and decision of the assembly has clearly defined the object of our work, to make an analysis through an analytical document, to draw up an action plan in these three pillars on which the commission focuses and for the proposals for legal measures.
Today's decision-making is related to the analytical document. During this one-month period, we worked hard to prepare the process with the necessary organizational measures and today we take the step, the beginning of the first phase, the preparation of the analysis.
This is a working draft, or an orientation project, as the following document will be developed by the group of experts, who will give the form and content of this analytical document.
The process will be guided by 4 principles, inclusiveness does not mean only the participation of parliamentary groups, but of all interested social factors and groups.
The second principle will be transparency, we intend for it to be open to the interested groups, through the products that will be produced by the commission and the group of experts.
The third principle is professionalization. This will be made possible by the fact that part of the group of experts will be the best, the best experts.
The other principle is the fact that the whole process must be in accordance with the best international standards", said Xhafaj.
