Activist Evi Kokalari has stated that her relationship with former Prime Minister Berisha was put an end to the coalition that the latter made with the head of the PL, Ilir Meta.
In an interview for "Euronews Albania", she said that she expected Berisha to listen to the opinions of the democrats since everyone was in his support, but no one wanted a coalition with Ilir Meta.
Kokalari also said that the moment when she really completely lost faith in Sali Berisha was when he put Besart Xhafer in charge of the youth forum, which according to her was not the right one as there were complaints about him.
" The coalition with Meta put the lid on him, especially when he lost the seal in court; this one did not listen to the opinion of the democrats but led them under the logo with Ilir Meta. This killed a lot of democrats, everyone gave their support but none wanted a coalition with Meta.
The moment I decided that I lost my faith completely, was the moment that he came out in the morning after the youth forum and invited Besart Xhaferi to the office, without finishing, while the rest were bringing the complaints and problems we had, but he ended the race.
He has been a leader for a very long time and he should not have allowed it. That's where the total disappointment began, because until that moment I was trying to say look what's happening with the youth forum ", said Evi Kokalari.
